Everyday Bouquets to Extraordinary Bouquets!

Everyone enjoys a great bouquet of mixed flowers from the local grocery store.  It’s arranging it once you get home that can be a task. Floral Designer Lisa Clulee of Dorignac’s Food Center offers this advice for turning a bunch of flowers into a pretty centerpiece.

First: Cut stems really short and arrange in a low-medium vase.

Second: Group flowers of the same color into clusters, rather than evenly distributing all the different varieties, to create little focal points so that the eyes can rest.

Third: Place arrangement in the middle of the table. Make sure that the arrangement is not too tall and guests are able to see all of the people seated at the table.

Tips for Fall:
Let beautiful fall foliage take center stage this season when arranging a centerpiece.  A few flowers and a smorgasbord of beautiful fall leaves are a sure way to bring the colors of fall into your home.
