This complex and full-bodied Chardonnay is barrel fermented and aged in French oak. The tropical aromas and layers of pineapple and mango flavors pair this wine well with foods such as seafood, chicken and pasta dishes.

Gary Farrell Sauvignon-Blanc
Redwood Ranch Sonoma County 2005 $22.99

This wine is produced from a very small production and is what Sauvignon Blanc should be. A fresh-fruit core is balanced with crisp acidity and flinty undertones leading to a clean and refreshing finish.

Silver Oak Cabernet Sauvignon
Alexander Valey 2002 $59.99

This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon has always been one of my favorites. Aged in 50% new and 50% once-used oak barrels for 25 months and 15 months in the bottle. It has a dark, ruby color with aromas of blackberry, chocolate and violets with a hint of cinnamon and black tea undertones. Will drink best in 5 to 25 years.

This Shiraz is deep in color with great intensity. The wine is bursting with jammy Shiraz fruit. Bold at 15% alcohol but not too tight. Drink now!

This Cabernet Sauvignon captures the unique flavors of Paso Robles in Central California. It has ripe plum and cassis flavors with soft tannins.

Joseph Phelps Insignia
Napa Valley 2002 $200.00

What can one say about Wine Spectator’s 2005 wine of the year; it is one of the great wines of California. This blend of 78% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Merlot, 7% Petit Verdot and 1% Malbec from Stags’ Leap and Rutherford. Aged 23 months in new French oak barrels. This exceptionally elegant wine is full of black cherry, allspice, boysenberry, ripe plums and toasted oak. Good tannin balance with a lengthy finish. Best in 5 to 50 years.
